CATIONIC RAPID SETTING (K160)
General information:
- Bitumen emulsion K160 consists of three basic ingredients: bitumen, water, and an emulsifying agent. Based on specifications it may contain other additives, such as stabilizers, coating improvers, anti-strips, or break control agents. It is well known that water and asphalt will not mix, except under carefully controlled conditions using highly specialized equipment and chemical additives.
- Cationic emulsions K160 may be used at ambient temperatures with aggregates, which need not be completely dry. Emulsions are less hazardous to use in comparing with cutback, and can be applied in a wider range of conditions.
- Sprayed Sealing – Cationic emulsions K160 ، Tack Coat K1-60 cationic bitumen emulsion can be used at ambient temperature at the spray rate of 0.25 to 0.70 liter per square meter (0.05 to 0.15 gallon per square yard).
- Packing: 220, 230, 240(Liter) new steel drum.
